What helps

If you write in, include your iOS version, Nedaa app version, selected location and timezone, calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule, prayer offsets, and whether Location and Notification permissions are enabled. A screenshot can help, as long as it does not include anything private.

Prayer times look incorrect

First check the selected location, timezone, calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule, Hijri adjustment, and offsets in Settings. Nedaa formats prayer times using the timezone saved for the prayer location, which may differ from the device timezone while traveling.

If your local mosque or authority uses a different method or adjustment, change the method or add minute offsets in Settings.

Reminders are missing or silent

Check that prayer reminders are enabled in Nedaa and that notifications are allowed for Nedaa in iOS Settings.

Focus modes, Sleep, notification summaries, alert delivery settings, and the ring switch can silence or delay reminders. Nedaa uses local notifications, uses Time Sensitive delivery only for at-time prayer reminders where available, keeps before-prayer reminders normal, and does not use Critical Alerts.

Qibla compass is unavailable or approximate

Nedaa shows a numeric true-north Qibla bearing from the selected location when calculation is possible.

The compass-style view depends on device heading hardware and current iOS authorization. If true heading is unavailable, Nedaa keeps the numeric true-north bearing as the fallback and labels approximate magnetic heading behavior honestly.

Privacy and permissions

Nedaa works without accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or a backend service. Manual location does not request location permission. Automatic Location is optional and asks for When In Use location permission only after an explanation screen.

You can revoke Location or Notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

Arabic, RTL, and accessibility feedback

Nedaa includes Arabic and English support, right-to-left layout, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels, Increased Contrast, Reduce Motion, and dark mode where supported. Send wording, layout, or accessibility feedback to tadbirlabs@gmail.com.
