What matters
Nedaa calculates each day from your prayer location, timezone, calculation method, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule, Hijri adjustment, and any minute offsets you choose. The selected method is never hidden away; Accuracy Details shows the inputs behind the schedule.
The Today screen starts with what you came for: next prayer, countdown, time, and the full daily schedule with sunrise. It also shows the selected location, Gregorian and Hijri dates, method summary, and reminder health when relevant.
Nedaa gives the numeric true-north bearing to the Kaaba. If the phone can provide heading data, the Qibla screen adds a compass view; if heading is unavailable or approximate, the app keeps the fallback clear.
Prayer reminders are optional local notifications. You can enable each prayer, choose at-time or before-prayer reminders, and pick from the bundled sounds. Focus modes, Sleep, notification settings, and the ring switch may still affect what you hear.
Automatic location is optional and uses When In Use permission. You can also pick from the bundled offline city database or enter coordinates and a timezone yourself. Nedaa does not reverse geocode or upload your location.
Nedaa is built in English and Arabic, with RTL layouts, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels, dark mode, increased contrast, and reduced motion support where implemented in the app.
Privacy
Nedaa does not have accounts, ads, analytics, tracking SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, reverse geocoding, map services, backend APIs, or developer-collected data. Your location choice, calculation settings, reminder preferences, language, and theme live in app storage on your device.
